Associate Professor of Molecular Toxicology Johan Lundqvist, born 1979 in Sigtuna, Sweden, holds a doctoral degree in Pharmaceutical Biochemistry from Uppsala University, Sweden. After his PhD degree he worked as a postdoctoral fellow in Denmark before joining the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). He is currently the principal investigator for a research group at SLU focusing on development and application of in vitro methods for toxicity testing of complex environmental samples such as drinking water, wastewater, food items and food contact materials.
